"This is a great place with lots of opportunities to see wildlife. The visitor center has highly knowledgeable rangers on duty and very informative. Exhibits. Plus, within easy walking distance you can go down to up here that extends out into the bayou as it meets the larger bodies of water that make up the Gulf of Mexico."

"Visited on Sunday Easter and it was opened! Opened a bit past noon but it was great to visit and learned about the bayou and the seashore. There is access to water and a nice pier close to the center. Rogers on duty were quite friendly and gave a lit of info about the area and wildlife but also how to bike to Ocean Springs and the boys completed their junior ranger booklet and got nice badges. There is a small interpretation section in the centre.
Nice osprey and its nest in the picnic area close to the water.
A very nice spot to learn and discover!"
