Sad day for the skate community :( It sucks to see the city tear down this skate park. I would come here every week for the past couple years and watched the whole thing grow. There was so many cool obstacles and things to skate here, even some new things I didn’t get to try. Maybe we’ll build something new or push for some brand new skate parks. Has this ever happened to you?

Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the abundance of bowls and the excellent flow of Alex Road Skatepark Prince Park, calling it one of the best public skateparks in Southern California. The strong local community is often praised for keeping the park clean and fostering an inspiring atmosphere. However, some find the street section less cohesive, and the city's amenities like bathrooms and water fountains could be improved.

"More bowls than you can shake a stick at. One even has an entire curb as part of the coping.

Fun to blast all the way down the length of the park from the top.

Obviously this park got it spot on with the transition sections but the street part is just kinda weird. I think they tried to do too much. Should stuck with the basics.

Free parking but no lights.

"Best public skatepark around by far. Not even fair to compare to any other skateparks in Southern California. We spend a lot of time at Prince Park and our boys love to skate the bowl, pool and overall flow of the park is super fun. The park is always kept up and cleaned by the locals and tons of respect to all the kids who have made this spot their 2nd home. Wish the city could build better bathrooms and water fountains but overall top notch crew of locals who take care of the place."
