"Didn’t get my lazy bottom out of bed until noon and my brother’s significant other was gonna cut my hair at 3:15 PM so I needed to find a place to go for a run that was close to Montrose. This checked all the boxes with views of the mountains, and not that far away"

"This area is intended more for recreational vehicles than for hiking. I went here during the week in the evening. I was the only person there. I followed the steep jeep trail down into the canyon. The riparian area along Dry Creek is lush with vegetation. The creek had water in it. I only hiked for an hour. It was a peaceful, enjoyable experience."
