Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the Puget Sound Estuarium for its engaging and knowledgeable staff, interactive touch tank, and educational exhibits that bring the Salish Sea to life. Many appreciate the opportunity to learn about local marine conservation. However, some find the space to be small and occasionally mention algae in tanks, with one reviewer feeling it was overpriced for the size.

"I didn't get to see the special exhibit in the back as it was being worked on just the tanks in the front but it was a free day anyway which is awesome that they even have that. Tanks had starfish some really awesome shrimp and a variety of other things worth checking out. Staff were informative and friendly and the drawers of shells and information were really cool. If you go on a free day they do have also have a donation jar. : )"

"Such a sweet place! My friends and I went as part of our weekly get-togethers. Peyton was a wonderful host! They showed us the tanks, feed the urchins for us, and generally helped us work through our understanding of the wildlife. I also really appreciated them calling on other volunteers and staff when we had very in-depth and tangential questions. We even got some merch at the end of the tour! A great way to feel like you've supported your local people while having fun :^)
Thank you!!"

Elise J

"Very fun 90 minutes! We could have stayed longer. The staff was knowledgeable and engaging. They took time to show us features of the live exhibits and demonstrated how sea urchins eat for us!"
