What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Orange Transportation Center Historic Depot for its affordability as an event venue and its appeal to train enthusiasts. The historical exhibits and model trains are a hit, and the Big Boy locomotive viewing is a highlight. Some guests noted minor issues with clarity on deposit terms and chair availability for events.
"Historic place in the city of Orange, TX, where a lot of my family reside. I hosted a paint & sip event here last Saturday. There are two sides. One is much bigger, which is where I thought I would be, but we still had a blast and made the most of it. This is an extremely cost-effective option for hosting events. You get to have it from 10a-10p for $300 (small side) -$400 (big side). Can't beat that. I plan to host another event here soon."

"Nice place, but for the small room I was only given 30 chairs when it holds a capacity of 50 people, like are the other 20 people supposed to stand? I had to go into the next room that had a party and get more chairs, also the contract states a 10.00 fee will be taking for garbage, we took the garbage but regardless if you leave the trash or not the ten dollars is taken out of the deposit. Needs to be a bit more clear"

"We took our son to see Santa. He loves trains. They had a few models set up and he literally sat there for 30 minutes watching them."
