From the hostess to the servers - we felt welcome the whole time. It is a small place, darkened, private and lavishly decorated. It has a very sexy and naughty undertone but that's the goal! We were seated at a table for two with curtains which gave us privacy , so this is ideal for lovers type of night out (which we weren't but enjoyed the privacy anyway).
The menu is short but very detailed - cocktails, some wine and beer and the desserts. All presented in the same sultry manner - very intriguing.
We went for the Carrot cake - name "Caress my Carrot" and the chocolate cake (forgot the name of it). They came beautifully arranged on the plate and tastefully decorated. But that was it. Both were just regular cakes, nothing special. I won't go into the price because you are paying for the experience, so that is that. However I expected more from a place that is a DESSERT restaurant...
Cocktails - very, very good! We had a lavender cocktail - light, refreshing and slightly sweet and a cocktail with a coffee cube which I missed the name - but it was creamy and delicious!!!
So if you are looking for extraordinary desserts - this is not the place...
But if you are looking for service, ambiance and good cocktails - welcome home - this place is IT!"

"We had a phenomenal time on Halloween night! We were celebrating my sister’s birthday and bachelorette and KC made sure that she felt special throughout. KC was an amazing server throughout our whole experience—super knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations for drinks and dessert.
Making reservations was super easy online and staff are responsive when calling on the phone to make changes as well. They are not kidding when they say you cannot go over a party of 4 easily, dining room is a little tight but calling to ask about a party of 5 was super easy and staff were super helpful.
The food and drinks were amazing—it took a little while for food to come out but totally worth it. Big big shout-out as well to the many NA/Virgin drink options, not something you see everywhere and I super appreciated it.
Overall I would 1000% recommend Better Than Sex if you’re looking for an intimate dessert option for a celebration/anniversary with a small party of people."
