What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
This McDonald's is a unique Orlando attraction, praised for its massive scale, extensive arcade, and playland. While the specialty pizza and pasta receive mixed reviews, many appreciate the novelty and the availability of classic favorites. Some visitors note cleanliness issues and inconsistent service, suggesting the drive-thru or standard menu might be safer bets for a typical McDonald's experience.
"One of my favorite places to visit while in Orlando. The pasta was soo good!
I like how you’re still able to use the rewards app even at Destination Locations!!- How it should be. The Kiosk Ordering/ App Saves so much time and their hand off system works very well."

"It was what you might expect from any McDonald’s. Fast but not high quality. You order at the kiosk and take your number to your table. The menu offers atypical items such as pizza, pasta options, Philly Cheese Steak. Some of which are cooked in a different section. Quite a few of the regular menu items were out of stock. All tables were dirty, even though there were employees standing around. They also have a different area to order specialty ice cream. They have an arcade and a play place, which are hard to find now of days."

"This McDonald's isnt just a McDonald's its truly something special. Featuring fresh pasta and brick oven pizza 🍕 its something special.
The additional food offerings aren't just gimmick either the Pizza is delicious and the pasta rivals lower end Italian establishments. When you realize your actually eating McDonald's its truly amazing.
The staff is friendly and makes great effort to keep the place clean a feat considering the number of patrons that are coming and going."

The Epic Menu: More Than Just Burgers
While these additions are a major draw, traveler reviews offer a mixed perspective. Some rave about the quality, calling the pizza '10/10' and the pasta 'delicious.' Others find these specialty items to be flavorless and overpriced, suggesting sticking to the traditional McDonald's fare. It's a culinary gamble, but one that many tourists are eager to take for the novelty alone.
For those seeking familiar tastes, the classic McDonald's menu remains fully available. You can still get your favorite Big Macs, Quarter Pounders, and McNuggets. The drive-thru is a reliable option if you prefer to stick to the tried-and-true.
Entertainment Galore: Arcade & Playland
For families, the multi-level playground is a major highlight. It's described as a 'jungle' and a 'nuts' experience for kids, offering ample space to run, climb, and play. However, be prepared for the noise; it's a lively environment that can be overwhelming for some. Many visitors appreciate that these entertainment options are still available, as they are becoming rarer in modern fast-food establishments.
While the arcade games operate on a pay-per-play basis, the sheer scale of the entertainment offerings makes this McDonald's a destination in itself, especially for families looking for a fun, albeit loud, diversion.
The Scale of 'Epic McDee'
Despite its impressive dimensions, some visitors note that it doesn't feel as overwhelmingly large as they might expect for the 'world's largest.' Nevertheless, the multi-level design offers distinct areas for dining, entertainment, and ordering, creating a dynamic visitor experience. The building itself is a visual spectacle, often drawing attention for its unique architecture and scale.
Being open 24/7 adds to its accessibility and appeal, allowing visitors to experience its grandeur at any hour. The scale also means it can accommodate a large number of patrons, though it can still get quite busy, especially during peak tourist seasons.
