Super kind gentleman named George that is great to speak with. Picnic areas, floating dock, telescopes set up. Located between phase 2 and 3 of Central Park and a great place ti explore while using the trails."

"This was a fun and educational afternoon. On the walk from the parking lot to the building, there are educational signs telling you about the plants you are seeing.
At first I thought homeless people were sleeping on the porch, but it was a yoga class.
A woman greeted us at the door and offered us a map. Inside there are aquariums and terrariums with fish, turtles and lizards. There are eggs and bones so you can compare the sizes. Some owls are really small! An eagle cam showed mom (or dad?) tearing up a fish to feed the eaglet. There is a bee hive encased in glass with bees coming and going. There are taxidermied animals, a bear, bobcat and armadillo. There are some long walks. We watched anhingas and turtles swim. There were a lot of different kinds of birds.
