The Oxnard Carnegie Library is appreciated for its beautiful historic mural, graceful architecture, and helpful staff, offering a pleasant atmosphere for visitors. However, some guests have experienced issues with an annoying external noise deterrent and unreliable Wi-Fi, impacting their overall visit. Reddit+1

"I am a Senior and have lived in Oxnard for over 70 years.
I am grateful for our beautiful library and the caring and helpful staff.
The historic mural of the lovely birds, colorful children’s artwork
and graceful arched window lift the spirits.
Thank you so much."

"Overall my experience was not the best. Outside there is this loud high pitch sound before you enter the library is super annoying. It's almost as if it is meant to deter homeless people or lessen people congregating outside the library. This alarm goes off every ten seconds and it might also cause migraines for people like myself. Also, the Wi-Fi network is not reliable. If you attempt to connect to your devices the Wi-Fi may disconnect while browsing. The book selection is okay. I definitely want to see this sound investigated because I should not be subjected to sound experience without my consent."

"Beautiful library, well organized with lots of information on hand for any true learners. Wish i could have stayed in Oxnard just for this library. Love the outdoor seating. Thanks for the charge."
