"Fantastic views in this small mountain lake! Absolutely gorgeous! Trail was in good condition at the time of this writing. It can be steep at times and be prepared to cross a few streams via ground laid logs or hop across using rocks. Also consider the altitude and how acclimated you are to it. Bring water and maybe an energy bar or trail mix for an energy boost for the hike back. I can't wait until the next time I hike this trail!"

David Boisvert

"Trailhead was nice. Long drive on county roads to get there. There is a latrine at the trailhead so ladies bring toilet paper. Parking for about 15 cars I’d say. We got there around 11am which is a late start and we had 2 cars and could find a parking spot. Great hike, steep for maybe .6 miles to start the completely levels off incredible Aspen grocers and lake itself is great."
