The natural beauty and opportunities for outdoor recreation are frequently highlighted as major draws. "I would have given 5 Stars if there wasn't so much construction going on in downtown. My husband and I did enjoy the different free hot springs and the water rafting. The town was very pleasant and welcoming"

Marian A

"One of the nicest little towns in southern Colorado. The kids enjoyed playing in the warm water and river. Good coffee (Italian standard) without any added funny flavors can be found in the village ;)"

"Peaceful walk by the river. Several hot spring run offs/pools along the way. As we walked, we eventually came to the Geothermal Greenhouses. This was my favorite area. We visited in the fall and there were still flowers in bloom. I bet it’s incredible in the Spring. Weren’t able to go inside the greenhouses due to maintenance but I took a peek through the glass in the door. Looked awesome."
