"What an amazing park! Such a perfect place for families, there is so much to do! Tons of trails, beautiful views and boardwalks, the observation tower, little free library to give and take books, tons of nature like the butterfly garden, two playgrounds, tons of shelter and picnic tables, and even the benches are a work of art and you can tell this park is heavily maintained by the county to preserve its history of Old Florida! Great place for birthday parties, walking your dogs, there’s wheelchair accessibility so even people in wheelchairs can go up to the observation tower and see the views. Our kids loved it here, as did we, we played on the playgrounds, donated some books, walked on the trails, looked at the nature and art. It’s truly one of the nicest parks I’ve ever been too and I’m so surprised I just discovered it today after living here as long as I have! There’s also plenty of parking and public restrooms and water fountains, all that stuff! Definitely recommend it for people of all ages!"

"What an unexpected surprise! What a beautifully well kept park. Nice playground with an ample amount of clean restrooms. Paved or natural trails that wind around plenty of water views but you never felt lost. Artistically crafted custom benches scattered around the trails. A lookout tower that has a handicap ramp all the way to the top and it looked like another tower in the near distance. Used by many but still not crowded. You can access the Pinellas trail right outside the park too—bonus!"
