What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Emerson Point Preserve for its natural beauty, well-maintained trails, and stunning sunset views. It's a peaceful escape offering historical insights and opportunities for outdoor activities like kayaking and birdwatching. Some note the shoreline can be choppy and the beach has sharp shells, recommending water shoes.
"What a great place to visit where you can fish from the shoreline, or you can bring your boat in and launch it, if it's small enough. You can see the skyway bridge from here. You can reserve a pavilion if you want to have a gathering. You must use the grills provided which are fairly small. Lots of sun. Some shaded areas but bring an umbrella if you need to. Keep cool. Bathrooms are porta potties."

"Well maintained, has some nice trails. Lovely sunset views. The water was very choppy and kinda gross though (lots of that nasty brownish foam forming on the shore). The beach is small with lots of sharp seashell fragments, so recommend bringing water shoes. Lots of smaller beach areas to explore. Nice that it has porta potty access just in case."

"Emerson point is very beautiful and full of all kinds of great spots to venture and check out they have a visitors center you can check out. They have a bird viewing tower that has an amazing view you'll have to see for yourself. Plus, they have an old archeological site where there is the portavant temple mound. There's so much more to see with all the trails. it's beautiful to go sit and just have lunch under one of their pavilions near the water. I definitely recommend checking this place out if you like the outdoors and nature."
