"The most beautiful and unique botanical garden I have visited. I initially balked at the $32 admission but quickly realized it was needed for upkeep. Beautifully maintained with a very diverse collection of flowers, plants, and trees and some stunning views of the rugged coastline. Most highly recommend if you visit Hilo."

"Visited these gardens before I decided to move here a year ago. Was absolutely in awe some of these flowers looked as if they were created by Walt Disney himself. Once I moved here, I got a membership so I can come as much as I want. Today was kind of extra special because there were so many flowers in bloom and the Amazing floral sense were Flowing through the air.
I’d suggest packing a small picnic lunch as there are many places to just sit and relax and enjoy the sounds of the ocean or the birds Chirping. It’s a very safe place Just to come and unwind. Also get a very nice easy workout.
I absolutely love coming here and everyone that I’ve come across while visiting loves it as much if not more than I do."
