What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Park Avenue's magnificent natural rock formations, describing it as a breathtaking and otherworldly landscape. The trail is well-maintained and offers spectacular views, making it a highly recommended stop within Arches National Park. Some note the parking can be limited and the trail can be challenging beyond the initial paved section.
"It's a magnificent place. A magnificent natural rock formation. It's a 5-minute drive. I recommend visiting in March-April or September-October. You'll see very slender rock columns. It's like a perfectly balanced rock, like a balance rock."

"I believe this is the first trailhead inside the park and is located on the north side of Arches National Park Road. There is a large, semi-circle parking lot with several handicapped parking spaces with limited oversized parking. There is also a bulletin board with helpful information about the trail and area, but there is no vault toilet at this location. The trail is very well-maintained and is the same trail you will follow out to the viewpoint. The trail is a 1.8 mile out-and-back or you can make it a one-way trip and be picked up at the Organ/Courthouse parking lot. This is considered an easy trail, especially if you are only doing it one-way, since it is mostly downhill from the parking lot. There are no dogs allowed, and the elevation gain is 308 feet (RT) and will take you approximately one hour."

"A great view at the point. One can walk and continue the trail for a few hours well. A great spot to enjoy the rocks, its erosion, the magnitude of the mountain and the beautiful of nature as a whole."
