Day at the museum anyone? The interior architect in me is dying to revamp this place! They are really trying to keep it decent but unfortunately finances aren’t allowing. Liked the new touch with the yellow frame outside. You’re now allowed to film inside! Probably a way to get Gen z to market the place. Do visit. #zimtiktok #byotok #bulawayo #museum #naturalhistorymuseum #kontuthuziyathunqa #byoh...

"Neat little museum. Self-guided tour inside with lots of information, facts, artifacts, and the photos (4 walls of photos from a collection)! Its small (2 rooms), but very nicely presented. Staff was very nice and helpful. A nice presentation of the Osage language and a presentation of the events described in the Killers of the Flower Moon. Busts of influential Osage People and an explanation of their roles. The museum is free with donations accepted. Outside there is a veterans memorial, stone placard about the Osage Nation and oil, a statue of Chief Claremore, and a few other things. It states there is a cafe and gift shop there, but not sure unless it is in another building as the museum is on the Osage Nation campus (Tribal Council building, BIA building and offices, medical center, etc.)"

Erin Lee

"Such a great space inside and out. The grounds are well done with the statue and memorial for veterans. Inside, you can see artifacts, pictures of those that had allotments, and more about the Osage language. Loved this!!"
