What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Pawleys Island is praised for its beautiful, relaxing beaches and serene atmosphere, offering a peaceful escape. Visitors appreciate the natural beauty and the uncrowded feel. However, parking can be challenging, and mosquitoes can be a nuisance during certain times of the year.
"This place is too nice really pretty area plenty of space to park and enjoy everything 10/10 would recommend very relaxing area"
Ian Barton
"This small park is the welcome area to the actual island - the town of Pawleys Island apparently exists on the other side of the causeway - and has been maintained or restored to look like the original land. Palm trees and an open grass spot that is very likely where a festival or market might be held.
It looks nice and there is parallel street parking nearby."
Bruce InCharlotte
"Scenic. Tiny. Mosquitoes were terrible (in June). My kids loved seeing the crabs and birds.
No facilities that I saw."
