"Great experience on a busy Friday afternoon. All staff we came in contact with were courteous and professional. The folks at the bag drop were particularly helpful and informative about what to expect. Practice facility is small but adequate. Most importantly is the course which was in great shape. Tee boxes were excellent, fairways were very good, while the greens were fantastic. Challenging with consistent speed across 18 holes. We were fortunate to be paired with a member whose course knowledge was a big part of our enjoyable experience. Even showed us where a couple of big gators hang out (and they were pretty big!). Highly recommend."

"As a west coaster, I've never played anything like Heritage before. With the big plantation clubhouse, the spanish moss trees surrounding the course, and the immaculate conditions, this place feels very unique, beautiful, and historical.
I was here for a tournament, and when I arrived here at sunrise and I will admit, at that hour, the combination of the misty air, the frost on the grass, and the plantation / clubhouse was reminiscent of the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland. 👻 The views throughout the course are very beautiful.
The practice greens and facilities are great, and the greens are perfectly rolled and very fast. Once I stepped onto the course, I noticed that the greens were not as fast as the practice greens, but I found myself playing a bit of defense with my putting / chipping because there are lots of areas where a bad lag putt can end up with the ball falling off the green altogether.
The course layout was challenging but fair, and there were lots of opportunities throughout the round to play with attitude - you can shape tee shots around trees and doglegs or you can back off and play conservatively. Lots of risk and reward moments.
Overall, I was impressed with the course, the facilities, and would play here again. It truly is like nowhere else I've ever played."
