Best way to get a baot down to Bear Canyon lake?
I'm getting up there in years and hauling even my inflatable kayak up and down the trails I know about is a pain. Thinking about hiding it someplace while I camp there. Ideas? Thanks

However, visitors frequently mention significant crowds, noise from off-road vehicles, and challenging lake access on weekends and holidays. The lack of cell service is also a common point of note.

"It's back in there, little dusty an a fair amount of side by sides ripping the 15mph gravel road like it's the Baja 1000. 4th July wknd was busy!!! Not ideal to fish the lake and enjoy the quite trees vs the city. Amazing sites an camping was nice. Will be back but not on a holiday wknd."

"We camped in the bear canyon lake area for 4 days. There were many very large camping areas. But, when we tried to get to the lake to fish, there was no way to access it. Unless you were a goat. So called paths down a cliff we’re gone. We tried driving around lake but no access that we could find. Decided to just hike around the area of our site and there was so much trash it made us angry. The beautiful area was disgusting. Friday afternoon the weekend campers came in being very inconsiderate of others. Blasting music and riding ALL night long. We left… So if you want peace and quiet don’t go on weekends."
