Good farms?
Anyone know of any good farms out east, preferably north fork (jamesport mattituck area) for good fresh veggies with the addition of delicious fresh meat? EDIT: I guess I shoulda been more specific with the “meat” text. Poultry is what I’m looking for

"Sang Lee certified organic Farm is one of the best farms I’ve ever been to!
Plenty of parking everything is so fresh. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The fruits and vegetables are by far the best I’ve ever had.
I travel very far and it’s so worth it and I tell all my friends and family how great the farm is"

"Very nice people and busy stand. My husband and I have stopped in here on our way to and from the ferry for years. Seems like they have really grown and expanded with more processed food offerings. Ingredients in their dips and dressings are not high quality (cheaper oil), but I guess they need to save money when they can. Produce prices are astronomical, as many other reviewers have mentioned. Obviously good for them they can charge what they think people will pay, but I remember the good old days when it was run by the older generation and prices were fair. Wanted to pick some figs and $20 to just get out to pick them was insane. Who would pay that? Solid 4 stars because produce and people are nice and they are out there doing the job of farming that no one does anymore."

"A very nice farm stand/ farmers market on the North Fork, LI. The produce is beautiful and they also have a few local products as well as those made in the farm in their small store including cheeses, crackers, kombucha and other beverages, sauces, pickles (including kimchee). They also sell herb plants and ornamental plants as well. Would be a good stop if you were looking to cook a farm fresh meal."
