"This past weekend I attended a 5pm wedding & reception at the Barkley House & Gardens. Being mid June, it was a very hot day (in 90s). I accepted being hot outdoors, but could hardly wait to get indoors and enjoy the AC. Not so! Even though there is AC, it was not very efficient & we were sweltering inside! Outside on the front porch was way more comfortable, if you can believe that! If they could only add some ceiling fans or attractive upright oscillating fans, it would make a huge difference! Otherwise, the building & grounds were lovely."
