"This museum offers a unique glimpse into the history of Pensacola and its people. Known as the “City of Five Flags,” Pensacola has a rich story, and this museum gives a clear overview of the major steps in its past. It’s easy to explore for kids, though younger ones might find it less exciting since there’s a lot of reading across the two floors. If you want to dive into Pensacola’s history, it’s a great starting point. There’s also a charming museum store with unique items … and the little bar is absolutely adorable."

"3/27/2025: Good information about Pensacola and laid out nicely with displays, 3 stories, and separate rooms. We bought the ticket for the full historic district tours. It was $12 per adult ($7 for kids) and you can use the ticket for 7 days. I reviewed each piece separately for a better understanding of what you see in each section.
I’ve been vacationing in Pensacola Beach since 1975 when I was a baby. I’m glad I finally got some history of the place I love so much!"
