"My wife and I have attended several events here. Most recently we visited for Memorial Day. It's a fantastic museum and historical site. Everyone is so knowledgeable and passionate. The effort put into the uniforms and all the details you can learn about during reenactments make it entertaining as well as educational. I highly recommend getting a membership."

"Very family friendly. Prices as of today were children 6 and over $7, adults $12, Seniors 60+ $10 and Veterans receive a two-dollar discount. Upon arrival, you watch a 16 minute video regarding the time era and the fort. You learn about the different leadership and battle strategies of the day. Once you enter the fort, you get to listen to a host of details presented by a soldier in uniform. You then get to explore the fort on your own which is 10 acres."

"Great fort to visits to learn about the War of 1812, and life in early Ohio and Michigan. Ashley and John do a wonderful job running the fort, and there is plenty to see inside and outside. Plenty of hands on activities for kids. There is a neat museum in the visitor center, with plenty to see and read. There is also a book shop. The fort has tours as well. Volunteers in period costumes and uniforms really make the experience special. They have musket and cannon demonstrations too. My son volunteers at the fort, and he really enjoys it."
