What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise St. Paul's Episcopal Church for its stunning Victorian architecture, particularly the beautiful stained glass windows and the soul-stirring pipe organ music. The community is often described as warm and welcoming, offering a reverent and traditional worship experience that appeals to many.
"I went here for a wedding, but it was the most beautiful wedding I've ever been to. The church was finished in 1857, but throughout the years, stained glass was added throughout the sanctuary. The chancel window behind the altar demonstrates an otherworldly depiction of Christ's ascension.
This was my first experience in an Episcopalian church. The priest who wedded my amazing friends was a very kind and gentle man. The pipe organ sounds amazing, and when it's played it resonates in your very soul.
I'm not an Episcopalian, I find their services a bit dry compared to the Orthodox service I go to (very ceremonial and much chanting), but for me, it is preferable to modern churches that cater to popular tastes. Everyone is different. If a formal service on the reverent side is your thing, or you enjoy Victorian architecture, please go check it out! It is certainly an experience."

"I've only been a member of this community two months, but it's warm and welcoming. Just people trying to figure out how to faithfully honor their belief in God, and the love they think is revealed in Jesus. There aren't enough stars to give. Y'all come"
