"Located a quarter mile from US31. A nice paved lot for bikers a hikers. Bike 10 miles on a paved trail to Charlevoix, or point your bicycle towards Petoskey for a slightly shorter ride.
Hikers can explore the adjacent trail down to the lakeshore. The trail is relatively short and easy starting at the parking lot and meandering through Aspen and maple trees before opening to a meadow and Lake Michigan vista.
CAUTION! A nice pavilion is located lake side but unfortunately it is infested with many bee hives. Leave of 3, let it be! Lots of poison ivy, so watch where you step.
Rest rooms. 2 pit toilets available but again, lack daily cleaning and maintenance.
Parking. About ten line spaces for park visitors. Not meant for ATV, or horse trailers, as it is too small.
