"Daily Mass & Confessions!
Church open until 5pm for anyone to walk in and spend some quiet time in prayer and meditation!
Go further and schedule a tour! The history of this place is absolutely incredible! The building survived a long period of attacks while the faithful survived also a long challenging time for simply professing their faith!
This is the cathedral because it is the bishop’s church and this is also the shrine of St. Katherine Drexel because this incredible Philadelphian woman is buried here! Katherine was the first person to foster high education for native, brown, and black people in the United States!
If you choose to come to Mass in the weekend, be ready to be amazed by the beautiful liturgy this church offers! It makes even the most skeptical person to look heavenward in awe!"

"May be the biggest Cathedral in Philly. Beautiful architecture! So massive inside! You can go in most times to sit and pray. This is where they have a lot of fallen Police and Fireman funerals."
