What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors generally find American Family Fields of Phoenix to be a nice, clean, and fun ballpark with friendly staff, offering great views of the game. However, many note that concession prices are excessively high and exiting the parking lot can be a slow process.
"The good-
1) The stadium is nice. It's open, relaxing and fun.
2) The staff is great. They're friendly and accommodating.
The bad-
1) Concession prices are way too high. Small park feel with big park prices. Regular size hot dog = $6.29. Large soda = $7.49. Bottled water = $5.29. It literally makes me sick going to places like this where they charge exorbitant prices for very basic items.
2) Parking/Leaving the area. It took around 30 minutes just to leave the area. The area is too small/busy for a baseball game. This was a weekday game. Maybe a weekend game is better."

"Great ballpark, plenty of area to walk and get some exercise in. Sit in the outfield grass and grab a beverage and or a tan or both! Parking is a little far for some but don’t worry they have golf carts running for those that are handicap and or can’t walk longer distances. I highly recommend going to this park. It’s one of the more modern facilities and has great views and plenty of areas to walk and relax!"

"Our first visit to a Spring Training Stadium. The staff was excellent! The facility was spotless clean, the seats were perfect and the game was fun to watch. I understand that paying for parking ($10) is a newish thing and wish it wasn't so. Ticket prices were high (to me) for good seats and the food choices were okay, but nothing new or exciting (again, the prices! Sheesh! $5 for a bottle of water?) However, I imagine that the costs of everything is the new normal..."
