Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the unique experience of witnessing thousands of bats emerge from the tunnel, calling it a 'fun date night' and a 'cool sight.' The natural spectacle and the educational aspect of observing the food chain are highly appreciated. However, some find the emergence less dramatic than expected, and the lack of amenities like seating is a common point of disappointment. InstagramReddit

"This was a fun date night!! I can't believe there is a place i the middle of the city that has 10s of thousands of bats that come out every night. The best part of it was when the first bat came out, there was a hawk that flew by and grabbed it right out of the air!! So cool!! It's cool to see true nature and the food chain working even when you're not our in nature! When we went, there were probably around 50 people there to check it out as well. So it's kinda an unknown thing. For a metropolitan area of our er 5 million people, that's not a lot of people to show up for this. The reason for the 4 stars is because I think the city should put in some picnic tables and some park benches for people to use."

Eric Solheim

"Saw thousand of bats fly out from the cave! The bats started flying out 5 minutes after sunset time and consistently kept coming out for at least 20 minutes. Definitely worth going to see"

Holly Berry

"This is just a location that the City built for the best to live in. There are no fees and no amenities. Pull up a camping chair around sundown and be quiet. The bats will come out."
