Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise The Andy Warhol Museum for its comprehensive collection and engaging, multi-sensory experiences. Many highlight the interactive studio and tactile art reproductions as unique highlights. While the sheer volume of art can be overwhelming, the thoughtful layout and enthusiastic staff make for a highly rewarding visit.

"Just for a day trip to Pittsburgh, I had to try out the Andy Warhol museum. I was pleased surprised with a lot of his artwork that I was not aware of, like his “blotted ink” artwork and seeing how he collected a lot of common items and collectors items!

I loved how easy it was to follow the art and I would definitely bring your significant other or a good day trip!"

Ty Elliott

"Was able to visit for free as a museum employee, but I’d definitely have found it worth it for the price! Comprehensive collection and thoughtful layout + wall text. They also offer a few tours which are very worth the time, I had a great time learning from Cate about Andy’s early work. Super cool activities in the basement where you can print your own shirt with Andy’s designs which is such a unique keepsake"

Gabrielle Doria Rhoads

"Finally went to the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh and absolutely loved it. You'll park across the street; look for the Brillo box attendant stand. We first grabbed a quick bite inside for lunch; the food & service at the museum cafe were great! Then we tackled seven floors of amazing art history; started at 7 with Warhol's earliest works and backstory. Took the stairs down, exploring each era floor by floor until we got back to 1. We picked up a few things at the museum store and ended our visit resting in the theater across the hall, watching a moving documentary about the artist's life."
