Reviews Summary
The Islamic Association of Collin County is praised for its diverse and welcoming community, informative sermons, and solid leadership. Visitors appreciate the well-maintained facilities and active programs. However, some attendees have experienced issues with shoe theft during Friday prayers, highlighting a need for improved security measures.
"I’ve been coming to this mosque pretty much my entire life and I’ve seen it grow from the late 90s in the early 2000s to what it has become now firstly warms my heart, secondly it has an immensely wonderful Islamic school/masjid. The community is diverse and welcoming, the sermons are informative and relevant. Most importantly the leaders are solid. May Allah continue to bless this house of his. Main building, gym, and other facilities are clean. Ramadan nights are absolutely packed."

"It’s really unfortunate that during Friday prayers at the mosque, some people steal shoes. It happened to me and another person today — we had to return to work without shoes. There seems to be no organization or security for this issue. It would be great if the mosque could at least provide some slippers for those who lose their shoes, especially for people like me who have diabetes and are not supposed to walk barefoot.
SubhanAllah, people come to pray and yet commit such acts. May Allah guide us all."

"Nicely built & spacious mosque with fairly large praying area.
Juma Khutbah starts at 1pm & 2:15pm. And they are very punctual.
There is plenty of parking but it gets full. If you get there 15 minute before khutbah then you will find parking.
And please do not park in the nearby business places."
