"Played Pecan Hollow today. Every time I've played here it has been in great shape and was the case today as well. However, the pace was absolutely atrocious. After taking two hours to finish four holes, we called the number on Google. Of course that number is a call center in India who said they would pass along our message about pace to the pro shop.
After finishing the fifth hole about 30 minutes later, we called the Indian call center again and got the number to the pro shop, called the pro shop directly and told them it has now been 2.5 hours to finish five holes and we needed a marshal or someone to help keep the pace. They said it was just a slow day and there was nothing they could. I asked if they enforced pace of play to which I was told "yes we do but I am looking at the GPS of all of the carts and there is no space anywhere. It's just a busy day."
I asked how far apart they schedule tee times and the guy could not answer but said "there are plenty of start times and if its taking too long, you can come in and get a refund."
The round took five hours and 42 minutes! Very disappointed in this place and will never play here again."
