Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently rave about the breathtaking, panoramic views from Hurricane Ridge, often calling them the highlight of their Olympic National Park visit. The accessible trails, especially Hurricane Hill, are praised for offering spectacular scenery without extreme difficulty. While weather can be unpredictable, many find the views emerge above cloud layers, making it a worthwhile destination in various conditions.

"Words cannot describe the ethereal natural beauty this park possess. Ocean, mountain, forest - you will find all three in the same place. All the hiking trails are really pretty as well. Specifically, the hurricane Ridge Trail. That place is out of the world even though the hiking itself is a bit tough."

Tasnim Kamal Mouri

"We spent the whole day at Lake Crescent in Olympic National Park with our grandkids, and it was absolutely wonderful. The setting is stunning — crystal clear water, mountain views in the background, and plenty of space along the shoreline to just relax. The kids loved playing by the lake while we sat back and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings.

The visitor center nearby was convenient for restrooms, information, and grabbing a few small things, but the real highlight is simply being by the lake. Parking was easy, and the area is very accessible for families, which made the day stress-free.

It’s the kind of place where you lose track of time and just soak in the beauty. A perfect family day — relaxing, memorable, and easy to enjoy without needing a big plan.

Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quiet, scenic spot in Olympic National Park."

"I don’t know where to start! The park is immense, first of fall. It’s impossible to do everything in one weekend.
I was very disappointed with the Hurricane ridge - nothing special and took me around 45 min to go in - you can use the shuttle if you want to avoid that.

My biggest recommendation is do the storm king trail! It is tough but one of the most rewarding views ever!

Ranger Moore was the most adorable person! Loved it!!!!

This park is spectacular! I wish I had more time"
