"Although just 2 rooms and a gift shop on the ground floor of a small house, it was a great way to learn about Port Aransas history (free but leave a donation at the log book).Took maybe 30 minutes but the person working there this particular afternoon provided us with much more information and stories. Worth the stop!"

"This is a must when visiting this town for the first time. We met a lady who was raised here who told us stories of the locals as she walked us through the museum. Fun information to learn. While you’re in Port A you will see a bunch of boat planters in front of people’s houses and businesses that pay tribute to the oldest boat maker on the island. It would make a great hide & seek game for kids."
