Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the St. Clair River Boardwalk for its excellent river views, historical insights, and public art. It's considered a peaceful and relaxing place, especially during less crowded times. Some note the parking lot could be better maintained and advise caution in the evenings due to a lack of security.

"Excellent Riverwalk spanning many miles. The deep blue watercolor is amazing. Cool sculptures and plaques explaining the history of the area. Don't miss the Edison museum. Well done, clean and informative staff well worth the 12 bucks. The Riverwalk goes all the way underneath the bridge so you can look up and get a cool perspective plus there's restaurants nearby if you get hungry."

"The river walk is a gravel parl lot, with free parking. A nice walk in the early evening. Not crowded. No security along the way. Best to go with friends. Lovely waterfront views with nature at the waterfront. Very relaxing."

"Best place to visit if you aren’t from the area. The only downside to the river walk is that Canada ruins the view with chemical valley over there. If you just focus on our side it’s peaceful place to walk right in downtown. You can walk the downtown strip and checkout all the stores. Then go directly to the riverwalk and it’s like an entirely different world. They have signs along the walk that teach the history of the land as well. Some info on the car ferry which was interesting as well as some info on it being Ancient Fishing/hunting grounds for the Native Americans! Highly recommend!"
