A property that was once teeming with wildlife has been destroyed during baby season. This is just a small clip from the larger property. This area has been booming with nest and babies for over a month now. When you walked down this road just a few days ago you could hear babies crying in their nests. Now? nothing. #florida #floridaconstruction #development #floridanative #wildlife #wildlifereh...

Explore South Florida w Me!

Most people don't associate South Florida with hiking, but I've found hidden gems nestled amongst the crawling suburban dystopia that is becoming our home. I LOVE experiencing old Florida, and so I made it a goal last year to discover my own backyard a bit more. I hiked over 200…

Reviews Summary

Visitors appreciate the profound peace and seclusion of Bluefield Ranch Preserve, often finding themselves alone on the trails. The opportunity to spot wildlife like deer and armadillos is a highlight. However, the dusty access road and lack of facilities are noted drawbacks, requiring visitors to come well-prepared.

"Best preserve it the st lucie county. Currently closed because fpl is putting powerless down but hands down the best place to see deer, hogs and other wildlife. Also an amazing place to get away from the light pollution on Bluefield rd. Stars are amazing out here. Please be respectful of wildlife and leave no trace."

"First time in this particular preserve. Drove about half an hour to get there, to get there you will be going thru a dirt road with a lot of dust so if you come with a clean car it won’t be when you are leaving, I went on a Sunday 11am and no one was there, it is very peaceful and secluded. The trails are sandy, no water when I was there but I’m sure it can get very wet from the layout of the land. I was able to make it to the observation deck, took some really nice pics, saw some armadillos and deers. There are some signs for the trails but they are really beat up, old, and half falling down. The trail is definitely hot, no shade, it those have some benches along the way so you can rest a few minutes. Recommend bringing sun block, water, and a hat or something to give you a little shade."

"Takes a bit getting out here but worth the drive. I enjoyed the small farms and the vaious cows, goats, rams, and other animals along the way. Make sure you pack some water because there are no facilities out here and it does get hot. Several dirt trails are available for walking or riding a horse. We were all alone out here today which made it very quiet, I liked this."
