"AWESOME AWESOME EXPERIENCE!! This pier in Portland is so relaxing. You will see big sign Indian Pier point on both sides of highway b4 driving into Corpus. Love how so many people and families come to gather at night to fish. Plenty of room for all of us to be there. We brought our own chairs but there are benches along the way. The night view was so relaxing and so was the temperature. Love how besides steps, there is a ramp access for a wheelchair. There are picnic tables for families to enjoy. There were young ladies surfing close by. It was a little tricky driving in, as there is the one road to the left to turn in to. But plenty of parking. Very safe at night due to all the people young and old out there. And no not just men, groups of women and young women also come out. I enjoyed seeing groups of young friends coming to fish. It is refreshing to see that it is still a pastime that young people still enjoy. Can't wait to come out again."
