What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Constellation Trails offers a visually stunning experience with its unique granite formations and views of Watson Lake. While many appreciate the well-maintained paths and dog-friendly nature, some find the navigation challenging and the $3 parking fee a bit steep. The lack of shade and occasional road noise are noted drawbacks, but the historical memorial adds a poignant touch.
"Great hiking spot. $3 for day pass unless you have Prescott pass, then it’s $2. FREE PARKING ON WEDNESDAY. Nice bathrooms, cleaned well by city. Hike is intermediate in places if you go all the way around, but the trail system lets you bypass the hard parts if you’d rather. Dog welcome ON LEASH."

"Good hike with a bit of climbing especially if you take some of the middle sections. Minimal tree cover. Good views of the dells rocks but you won’t climb into/onto them. Nice restrooms. Not crowded at all. A $3 daily fee."

"Nice parking lot. But you have to pay. Small fee $3, all day, but not worth it. The trail is very difficult to interpret at first, even with the map. Even with signs that say,”stay on trail”, there are many heavily used offshoot trails that people have used, that makes it harder to find the main trail. LOTS OF DOG POOP! Disrespectful trail users are the cause of most of the problems here. While I was there, there was a tour group in a no trespassing area making all kinds of noise. On top of that, you never get away from the road noise. But the rocks are very cool and the farther you go, it gets easier to navigate. If it’s just some cardio you need, it’s a great trail. If you want serenity and peacefulness, you won’t find it here."
