I visited the new lighthouse where you can see the old lighthouse memories, how lighthouse works in the old days, the history. I also found amazing souvenirs from here which you can buy within 5-10 dollars. I also made a trip to the top of the lighthouse with 9 dollars and it was just worth it! You can see the entire lakeside view 360 degree from it. It was just heavenly up there (attached a photo too).
I would definitely recommend everyone to go there if you are near Alpena! Take at least 2-3 hours for visit."
