"The restored Delta is an unintentionally hidden gem! Beautiful parks, trails, signage, observation deck, fishing areas, play grounds, etc. The facilities are very well maintained. Bathrooms are kept clean. Groomed trails for horses and paved trails for people.
The amount of wildlife is astounding. I went to the observation deck (4-6-25) and watched nesting raptors, beaver dams, ducks, geeses, blackbirds and the list goes on. The new frogs in the flooded field to the south were so loud, it was amazing!
I love watching and photographing wildlife, but between foot, knee and back surgeries, I have a tough time getting around like I used to. The facilities and trails were built for easy access for all, even if you are wheelchair bound.
Take your kids and/or grandkids for an amazing adventure, right in our backyard! Highly recommended!"
