"you can tell how passionate the people there are about the care and well-being of the birds. had a great tour of the facility learned a lot about the birds and things people can do to help keep wild birds from getting hurt- no fake spider webs during Halloween, cut fishing wire, if you see a bird hit call wildlife control to come get them so they can be properly rehabbed. got to meet lurch the turkey vulture and Jasper the barn owl. will definitely visit again as they rotate birds. the gift shop is in a separate building up the road near the Arkansas river and is small but also educational."
