Reviews Summary

Visitors praise Chapman DeMary Trail for its beautiful, shaded woodland paths and the delightful shallow creek perfect for toddlers. The nature education signs are a hit with families. However, the trail's natural terrain makes it less accessible for strollers and those with mobility issues, and parking can be a challenge with some reporting towing concerns.

"It's a great simple trail, mostly shaded under lots of trees. Can be slippery in areas after recent rainfall and stay a bit wet, so be cautious of that.
There are exposed roots, rocks, and bridges to navigate too, it's left quite natural, so this isn't something I would consider stroller friendly or accessible for those with mobility aids (from the parking lot or only has stairs to get down to the picnic area as well.)
A great short trail for young kids, with lots of info cards about different plants you will see along the way.
We put our toddlers on swimwear and let them splash and play, bringing a few water toys as well with us, in the warmer months.

Our family loves how beautiful of a walk it is. The only downside (other than limited accessibility for those who would need accommodations) is how close parts of it are to the road, only because when trucks drive by or someone has a loud vehicle it's just a bummer to hear, but it's a great tucked away spot and that's only in certain spots."

"Absolutely adore this place, there’s a small creek my kids love to put their feet in and splash away.
We love catching small insects and bugs 🐜"

"Nice, couple of bridges need work starting to fall apart, no real parking near by only spot i can find is next to Tacobell/bank, property manager likes to call tow trucks if you park there to walk the trail and takes pictures of your car if you leave it to walk to the trail. Really need a parking place near by."
