What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Wye Island's serene beauty and affordability, calling it a 'hidden gem' perfect for nature lovers and events. While the natural setting and peaceful atmosphere are major draws, some guests have noted issues with restroom availability and unclear parking or dock access.
"My wedding was here a few weeks ago and it was absolutely perfect for us! The pavilion rental came with 12 overnight bunks in the cabin & lodge, from noon on Friday through noon on Sunday. It was affordable and they allowed for amplified music, up to 200 guests, self-catering (kitchen in the lodge), and games in the field. The beautiful setting on the water was exactly what we were looking for! The staff was flexible and even helped direct parking for our guests. I took lots of pictures because it's a hidden gem that deserves to be elevated. My husband and I couldn't have been happier!"

"Very pretty place. We've gone here quite a few times at various times of the year. It's always quiet and pleasant place."
Karan Abbasi
"Gorgeous, beautiful, enchanting. Free of charge. Plenty of places to park but not many spots to park in those places. Usually the lots can only fit about 5 cars. Anyway, great place to go hiking, running, fishing, kayaking, horse riding , hunting, birdwatching, and dog walking. The trails smell of pine with vines wrap around the bark that surround the path. It reminds me of a fantasy novel at times. It's mostly flat land with plenty of open field. Lovely place to be."
