Reviews Summary
Reviews for CITA Archbishop's Towers Center are mixed, with praise for prompt maintenance and well-kept grounds, but significant concerns raised about deposit disputes, noise, and pest issues. While some residents enjoy a quiet community with helpful staff, others have experienced frustrating interactions with management and ongoing problems with their living environment.
"At first, I wanted to leave a great review because for the majority of things considered... not a bad experience. I lived in a three bedroom for just over a year but had to leave due to the rent being too high. The year I was here was pretty good though, no super complaints. Management responded fast enough, things were fixed quickly.
They just wait until you move out to screw you over and take the majority of your deposit; I was charged to replace the carpet in the entire apartment, even though the stains that were there weren't from my household. They came back up within days of moving in, we didn't even get the chance to make stains before you could see the ones already there. Did I leave it in perfect condition? No, of course not, I lived there, I used the space. It was janky when we moved in though. They just painted over the defects of everything, cleaned the carpets right before to make them look stain free... but once you use a carpet for a moment, the stains show again.
Be careful, they ask for a rather large size deposit and then charge you for anything and everything. This is how they get away with it. They give you used/damaged units and then charge you when you move out."

"I've left a review while I still lived here about how loud and dangerous it was to live here. Neighbors were constantly blasting music and having arguments to where the cops would have to get involved. Constant cockroach infestations and gnat infestations.
Now, I don't live here and still have issues with the office. I received a package, apparently, and received an email saying it was in the hub office. So I called and asked Jasmine if she could take it out of the hub so the current residents don't pick up the package. She said she would and then I asked, to confirm, it was going to be taken out and she said yes. This was around 1 pm I believe. I then tried calling back because I wanted to know the sender of the package since I couldn't find anything that I ordered. No one answered.
Then I called today, and wanted to check if it was in the office and who the sender was. Stella said the package wasn't in there anymore and she had to see who took it out and I would received a call back. I didn't receive a call so I called again, and it was Jasmine. She said she never took the package out because they were short staffed. There were four hours before closing to take two minutes to take the package out. She then was giving me attitude when I wanted to know Id receive a call back and was worried about who the sender was since I don't recall having a package. Now, I have to wait for a call back that I'm not sure if I'm going to receive again. So to my understanding, the package is no longer in the hub and Jasmine never took it out when I asked her to, so now the current residents have the package and it will be a whole thing to get it back.
There's been so many issues with this apartment after living there for four years and still continues even after moving. I hope I can receive the package that I have, and that I can receive a call telling me who the sender is before I come pick it up because it does seem a little off and the attitude I received from Jasmine regarding this issue is less than ideal."

"We love living here, it’s super well kept up and overall quiet and a nice area. We’ve only had a couple of maintenance requests in the 13 months of living here and they are always super prompt and helpful. The office staff are also super nice. It’s a great location with good amenities overall for the rent, compared to a lot of other places.
There have been a few instances where water has to be shut off for the whole building. Usually 8am-5pm so thats a downside"

Navigating Move-Out and Deposits
Beyond physical damages, communication issues with the office staff can exacerbate move-out stress. There are accounts of lost rent checks and arguments over payment allocations. To mitigate these issues, it's advisable to keep copies of all financial transactions and correspondence. If you encounter difficulties, seeking clarification from a different office staff member or escalating the issue might be necessary. The goal is to ensure a transparent and fair process, and proactive documentation is key to achieving this.
Community Living: Noise and Pests
Furthermore, there have been mentions of persistent cockroach and gnat infestations. While management may address these issues, the recurrence suggests they can be a recurring problem for some units. If you are particularly sensitive to noise or have a strong aversion to pests, it's worth inquiring about the current situation and any preventative measures in place before committing to a lease. Understanding the community's dynamics and potential challenges can help set realistic expectations for your living experience.
