What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Hamilton Family Brewery is praised for its consistently great beer and friendly staff, with long-time fans appreciating their decade-long commitment to quality. While the new, larger location offers more space, some patrons miss the cozy ambiance of the old spot, noting the brighter lighting and increased noise levels. Despite these adjustments, the brewery remains a popular destination for craft beer enthusiasts, live music, and food truck fare.
"I’ve been going to Hamilton and have been a fan for over 10 years. They’ve always served great beer and offer solid customer service, and I love how unpretentious they are.
That said, unfortunately, the new location just isn’t as much of a vibe.
New Beer Offerings
- I wish they’d served some special new beer upon moving to the new place.
Warmth, or Lack Thereof
- The new location just isn’t as cozy. The lights are WAY too bright and fluorescent in the new building, which doesn’t help how overstimulating it gets because of the amount of noise and people.
Seating
- It also feels like there’s less space to find seats in the new location. The lawn chairs are already breaking apart and aren’t really welcoming to sit on.
Sound/Noise
- The sound bounces off the entire structure, which makes it really hard to talk to people without either sitting super closely to each other or slightly yelling over one another.
Parking
- There’s a lot less parking too, and somehow more difficult than the last location, but it is very cool that they at least offer a shuttle service. It is a bummer how it sits directly across residential properties, whereas the last location was in a sort of strip mall.
Staff
- Bummer that I could only recognize maybe once face from the old staff, as they were all so wonderful.
I just wish the place had a warmer ambiance and had some sort of noise insulation, both of which would go a long way. I’ll continue to support and be there, but offering some constructive feedback for a local business that I love. ✌️"

"My girlfriend's and i visited Hamiltons on 10/04. It was a friday night around 9pm. There had to be at least 500+ people. Great vibes as soon as we walked in. Security greeted us and welcomed us in with a smile and a couple jokes. Parking is minimal, but they do provide a shuttle service at their OG location if there is no parking available. The new building is beautiful and very roomy. They don't serve food, but there
is a food truck. We sat on the inside portion. There was about 11 people in our party and we were all seated comfortable. At 930 they yelled out last call which is typical right before closing. At 945 security came around to each table and gave us a heads up that they were closing soon. At 10pm they closed. Security did yell out it was closing time and it was time to finish our drinks and head out. It was loud. Which was also fine. Its one guy vs. 500+ loud patrons. He wasn't disrespectful or brash. Just loud and firm. People are entitled and don't understand the world does not revolve around them. We asked security if we could use restroom. They were very nice and accomadating. It was probably close to 1015 when we finally came out of rr because of long line. There were still several groups still hanging out and not really moving or finishing their beers. Security again at no one person or group announced that it was time to go it was passed closing and staff needed to clean before going home. He wasn't rude or nasty at all. This one paticular group decided to complain to managers because their feelings were hurt. Come on now. Guy wasn't even talking directly to anyone it was a broad announcement. Trying to get a guy fired because your entitled and can't handle being told to leave after closing is just bonkers to me. Do better. Thank you Hamiltons and the security team for keeping us all safe. You rock!!!"

"Visited for the first time on a rainy Sunday evening. Asked for a recommendation on a beer, and the guy behind the bar offered to let me taste different beers to find one I liked, he was super welcoming and friendly. The security guys on the door were friendly and welcoming also! The taco truck was there when visiting and the food was so good! Best birria burrito I have had!
Was nicely busy on a Sunday night, which made the vibes really nice! Will definitely be back and would recommend. Lots of parking for a Sunday night, could be hard on a Saturday but good location and enjoyed my visit!"
