"Heritage Park – A True Gem for Families and Outdoor Fun

Heritage Park is an awesome place to spend a few hours or the whole day with family and friends. Whether you’re there for a picnic, a ball game, or just to enjoy the scenery, there’s always something to do. The lush, green, well-maintained grass covers the entire park, creating a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere.

From baseball fields, basketball courts and soccer to an outstanding, up-to-date equestrian center that hosts well-known horse shows throughout the month, the park offers activities for all ages. Kids have plenty of ways to burn energy, sliding down a soft grassy hill on cardboard, playing in the sandbox, or exploring the varied terrain. The state-of-the-art playground is safe and inviting, and the surrounding scenery is breathtaking, with 30–40 foot pine trees, smooth sidewalks, and stunning views of the San Gabriel Mountains to the north and the valley to the south. If you’re lucky, you might spot owls or other local wildlife in the early evening.

The restrooms are well-lit in the evening, known for being safe, and—most importantly, clean. While they’re standard block-and-cement facilities, they’re maintained in excellent condition.

This park is the perfect picnic destination, but keep in mind there are no electrical outlets on-site, so be sure your devices are charged before you arrive. If you’re planning a picnic, reserve your spot early with the City of Rancho Cucamonga FYI tables and shaded areas go quickly.

Heritage Park is safe, beautiful, and full of activities. Highly recommended for an afternoon outing or a relaxing picnic."
