Reviews Summary
Guests frequently praise Omni Rancho Las Palmas for its exceptional family-friendly atmosphere, particularly its fantastic water park with a lazy river and multiple pools. The beautiful grounds and attentive staff are also highlights. However, some visitors find the resort to be overpriced and in need of updates, with occasional issues regarding cleanliness and inconsistent service in dining areas.
"Unfortunately we went on a rainy weekend but the lazy river was perfectly heated when it wasn't raining. It is situated across from a small mall with food choices if you want something besides the resort. The rooms were spacious with a nice patio. Easy parking in front of our room. Nice firepits to sit around at night if you can get one."

"We spent five nights here and had a very mixed experience. Starting with the positives: the grounds are beautiful—you wake up to palm trees, Mountain View’s, and a perfectly maintained golf course. There’s a great variety of pools, spacious (though dated) rooms, and the lazy river was a blast. The food at the hotel restaurant was good, though definitely pricey. My prenatal massage was excellent, and some of the staff were especially kind and attentive. The resort is also conveniently walkable to nearby restaurants and ideal for families with children. Now for the improvements…the first few days felt a bit like false advertising. Tables at BluEmber were broken and dirty, and our cups and silverware weren’t clean. We were also upcharged EVERY time we ate there. The waiter said that the prices have increased, yet the menu did not reflect that. The Conchilla Pool was my favorite, but the first two days it was full of hair and debris and left black stains on my swimsuit. The adult pool needs new chairs; most were ripped or dirty. Sprinklers often sprayed the sidewalks instead of the grass, creating slippery areas. Restaurant service was inconsistent—some servers were great, others barely checked in—and outdoor dining areas weren’t cleaned up between guests (even when we asked for it to be so we could sit at the fire pit). It seems a new restaurant is opening soon, which is great, as more food variety would help. With some cosmetic updates, better maintenance, and improved staffing, I could see us returning in the future as a family. Just note that the resort hosts events that can run late, and the noise carries throughout the property."

"Amazing experience. We loved it already planning another trip. We basically wake up in the morning went to the pool and didn't get back to our room until 10pm. Have 3 kids ages 9, 7 and 5. They all know how to swim so I wasn't worried and felt very safe with them being on their own at the pool. The lazy river and the beach sand. It's a resort that's all about the kids. Many activities for the kids and evenings had a movie. Everything was reasonably priced."
