First time camping in Rangeley, (don't yet know where exactly yet) but is there generally quite a bit of noise from boats/jet skis?
If you're looking for peace and quiet, you might look into Cupsuptic Lake's wilderness sites. They're not on the water, but if you don't mind the drive and the lack of hookups it's probably the quietest experience you can get from a campground.
Rangeley Question!
Was considering taking a day trip to Rangeley later this week! Anyone know what the chances of spotting a moose there this time of year would be? (Will probably go either way, but wanted to be realistic because we’d love to see one!)

"Only $21 for Maine residents, that was on a weekday not sure if they charge more for weekends. This place has all the amenities, potable water, flush toilets, shower, trash, cell service, etc. Some sites are definitely better than others, try to get one by the lake"

"Stopped in to find out about hikes in the area. Such a helpful woman at the booth that gave us a trail printout and let us know where the toilets were. Very pretty lake."
