Most scenic hike within an hour of downtown?
Hello, I will be in town this weekend for a wedding but would like to sneak away early Friday morning for a scenic hike if possible. Have to borrow a car so something within an hours drive would be preferred. We are staying at the Hotel Alex Johnson Hotel downtown. Anyโฆ
Canโt remember the name of a trail,
You can use this pipe to climb up a steeper incline, takes you to these stone castle looking steps and there is a giant gravel bridge connecting it to the flume trail. WHAT IS THIS CALLED? I wanna say deer creek/ elk creek but I canโt remember

Trail markings can be tricky after the lake. Use a map or app to stay on course. :world_map:

"Great trail. I think my dog and I hikes about 4-5 on the loop(?). I forgot to start my GPS. Most of it is moderate. There are a few places that are challenging. The scenery is amazing!"

"Great trail that has a little of it all
1. Rocks and ledges
2. Cave tunnel
3. Sheridan Lake
3. Spring creek
4. Walk bridges
I would suggest doing the loop starting with the walk bridge going uphill to the rocks before getting to the lake and then having a flat walk back to the parking lot. Lots of fun!+"
Jeffrey Cutler
"Parking is always packed, but it's an easy beginner trail that leads up to Dakota Point for cliff jumping."
