Reviews Summary

Visitors praise San Timoteo Nature Sanctuary for its easy, flat trails suitable for walking, running, and cycling, and its pleasant natural scenery. However, some note the prevalence of invasive species in restoration areas and the lack of shade, making sun protection crucial. Concerns about parking lot safety due to broken glass have also been raised.

"I've been on this trail three times already and did both the Carriage Trail and the Cocomaricopa Trail. The northern entrance has a small parking and you're greeted with a cute pond, gazebo with a picnic table. The south entrance, you also have small parking, it have a bench with a shade and bulletin board with updates on the trail. This area gives off a good vibe, relaxing, really scenic walks and an easy hike."

Darrell Cioco

"Nice nature preserve, the restoration of native plant communities has just begun so expect to see lots of invasive species the further you go in to the middle of the park.

The trails are pretty flat with little to no elevation change. Most of the trails you'll be under direct sunlight, with little shade.

No dedicated restroom facilities. Parking lot had broken car glass in a few spots. Use common sense when parking, do not leave items in plain view inside your vehicle."

"Lovely marked trail going around a clifside. Super easy walk and pretty accessible for most. Beware of the bikers and poop on the trail!"
