It is a community treasure, holding more than 12 free exhibitions per year, offering hundreds of affordable art classes, and teaching art to public school children and youth in West Contra Costa. Its staff is friendly and community oriented. If you're in the area, drop by and support it. All non-profit art centers need our help these days."

"I freaking love this place. It's awesomely large and a really, really nice building to have an art school in. The classes are cool and eclectic and I always find an interesting class. The only teacher I've had is Maggie when I took an art class with my bebe. She's really talented and patient. We always have fun when we go here! Occasionally they have open house days like the spring fling and Guillermo's birthday party. I recommend this place to everyone! Solid 5!!!"
